Good to know in Croatia
Check the island, not just the mainland city
Look up your island accommodation and harbour in HAKOM’s coverage maps, using the network disclosed in the plan. A national coverage statement does not tell you what happens inside your apartment. Save tickets, check-in instructions and the return sailing before leaving Wi-Fi.
Ferry data and land data are different purchases
HAKOM warns that phones on ships can connect to non-terrestrial networks with different charges. Do not assume a Croatia eSIM includes those networks. For the crossing, use downloaded information or separately confirmed ship Wi-Fi; keep automatic roaming on your home line under control.
A border detour needs its own tick on the list
If your route includes Bosnia and Herzegovina or Montenegro, check those exact destinations alongside Croatia. A regional label is not a substitute for the coverage list. On a single-country trip, compare a Croatia package with the wider alternatives rather than paying for destinations you will not use.

Good questions about Croatia eSIMs

What is the cheapest eSIM for Croatia?
Plans start at $0.39 and the median price is $0.90/GB. Prices re-checked 5 h ago.
Will my Croatia eSIM work throughout a ferry crossing?
Do not count on it. Land-network coverage near a port is not proof of service at sea. Check any maritime or ship Wi-Fi service separately.
Does a Croatia plan cover a day trip to Montenegro?
Only when Montenegro appears in that package’s exact country list. Check before crossing, even if the product is called a Europe eSIM.
What should I download before island hopping?
Save ferry tickets, accommodation details and maps for the next stop. These remain useful if a harbour, building or crossing has no usable mobile connection.
