RoamSonar editorial policy

This policy explains who writes our guides, how price claims are checked, how quickly catalog data changes, and how corrections work.

Who writes and reviews

Guides are written and maintained by the named author shown on each article. We do not publish a person's name, photograph or profile link until all three are verified. Automated catalog facts may appear inside guides, but editorial explanations are reviewed before publication.

How prices are verified

Plan prices come from documented provider feeds or public provider catalogs. The sync stores the source price, applies only active display-allowed coupons, and recomputes the effective price server-side. Country pages show the age of the most recent successful sync. Provider checkout remains authoritative.

Update frequency

Provider adapters are scheduled approximately every 30 minutes. Guides carry visible published and modified dates. A guide's modified date changes only when its editorial content is actually updated; live catalog numbers can refresh without falsely changing that date.

Affiliate independence

RoamSonar may earn a commission after a click-out. Commission, conversion rate and EPC are not ranking inputs or tie-breaks. Featured advertising, when present, is labeled and kept outside the organic winner order.

Corrections

Report an error through the contact form with the affected URL, the value you saw and, if possible, the provider checkout evidence. We check the source, correct the catalog or copy, and purge the shared page cache. Material guide corrections update the visible modified date.
